Related Links
Since every listing in the gig guide contains links
to individual band/artist/promoter websites (when known) we've decided
we're not going to have those links duplicated here, otherwise we'd just
end up with a very large list that would mean nothing unless you happen
to know a particular band (and then you'd probably already know their
website address).
So links here are for general purpose interesting sites relating
to the blues. If you think yours should be included then let
us know...

Bob Dylans Theme Time Radio Hour
Yes folks, it's Bob hisself selecting and introducing his favourite records.
Each week there's a different theme - recent ones include 'Water', 'Fathers',
'Food', 'Marriage', 'Divorce'. Lots of blues in amongst the eclectic
mix of old and new, plus Bob chats about music and culture and even tells
jokes!

Bluesinlondon is
offically
lovin' Joe Cushley's 'Balling The Jack' show
on Resonance 104.4 FM. Tuesday from midday
to 3.30pm, it's an hour of eclectic music in the broadest blues sense.
Just how we like it!
"Balling
the Jack explores the way The Blues has interacted with art-rock, electronica
and punk over the last 40 years.
"
The show also takes time to shine
some light on the darker corners of the idiom's earlier history. Competitions
and special guests enliven this eclectic, Clapton-free celebration
of the Thirteen Bar Blues".
Frankly, we think the show should be on for much more than
1 hour a week, and why no podcasts? If you
agree then get onto www.resonancefm.com and
make your feelings known!
